The Quarterly Reporting Period is now open for certified hosts to report their quarterly stays for April 2019 through June 2019. Please note that quarterly reporting is NOT required if you have a pending application with our Office. Quarterly reporting is required for short-term rental hosts with a certificate issued by the Office of Short-Term Rentals. This item is not handled by hosting platforms for you and is separate from hotel tax reporting (handled separately by the SF Tax Collector). If it's your first time reporting online, you'll need to activate your online account first:
Enter the registration number from your STR certificate. Do not use the business account number from the Tax Collector.
You'll receive an email with a link to set a password.
Once you've set your password, select Report Stays Now to file. https://shorttermrentals.sfgov.org/activate Quarterly Reports are due no later than July 31, 2019.
5:30PM-7:30PM July 1, 2019
During the evening walk-in hours, you can submit an application for a short-term rental certificate, ask our staff questions about eligibility and the rules for the short-term rental program, or submit a complaint about a suspected illegal short-term rental in your neighborhood.
